I used to buy them for our company so have bought hundreds since 1994. ![]() I have spent more time trying to solve issues with an out-of-the-box computer than I ever have since I first bought a Dell 15 years ago. My old first generation XPS laptop was such a wonder, and while the external styling of this machine is vastly improved, the hardware is far inferior. My opinion of Dell has really sunk with this XPSM1530 laptop. It's an extremely poor implementation, I would not order this and did not have an option when I bought mine. This useless piece of hardware, I would be pawing at it over and over again until it would get a reading it would like. I can type in a password in under a second. I uninstalled and disabled all software related to it. I spent an hour trying to make my fingerprint reader work, and then gave up. ![]()
